A traditional long barn sympathetically converted to retain its original charm. This home has space for six guests to enjoy an adventure-filled break in the heart of the Peak District and Derwent Valley. Spacious, stylish and conveniently located, this is the perfect place to stay with friends or your family.

This reverse level house has two en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor and a master suite upstairs making it great for groups of couples or friends who want their own space. The open-plan kitchen has everything you need to cook for the group, such as two ovens and a handy dishwasher. The charming lounge/dining area has vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and large windows letting in lots of light. Outside is a delightful patio area with a table and chairs as well as a BBQ, the ideal spot for al fresco dining and having a drink while you rest your weary legs.

Explorers of all kinds will find something to whet their appetite here. There’s an eclectic mix of walks, cycling trails and rivers to enjoy all around the Derwent Valley. Eyam is overlooked by the scenic Eyam Moor. A fantastic hill for walking, with a historic stone circle and a cairn worth a visit. The views from the top are remarkable and far-reaching. There are several walking and cycling routes that pass through and around Eyam village, made famous during the plague for its voluntary quarantine. A pub, cafe and shop are all within 500 yards of the property, so you can leave the car behind while you head off on foot.

Forget Me Not cottage is a wonderful home from home in the historic and very pretty village of Eyam. Two wonderful cafes and a pub within walking distance and walks in every direction from the door. We have stayed here for 3 years running and it is the most perfect place to chill. Its location is perfect for walking, cycling and is steeped in history (check out the museum). The cottage was very good with very comfortable beds and good quality cooker. It was spacious and well equipped. It is not suitable for people with mobility problems as access to living areas is via a staircase, and there are 2 additional steps up to the lounge. There is no welcome pack provided.

A lovely cottage in a lovely village. Fairly central for anywhere. Even without using your car you can get into the hills. A spacious, comfortable well appointed property. Met all our needs, had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Situated in a delightful village, with lots of history. The local museum with excellent curated exhibition is a must see, as are village buildings and sites of interest. Lovely property in a very nice village. Some attention to detail in decor and fittings required. It would have been a nice gesture to have a small welcome pack such as a cake or biscuits.

Well equipped and very comfortable holiday base. Our week was a bit inclement weather wise but the heating was first class. Private parking which was easy to access for both cars was a real benefit. Eyam itself was charming but peaceful and had just enough amenities for a good holiday. Would certainly go back in the future.

What a beautiful place to stay. Spotlessly clean, every piece of equipment you could want (although a high chair might be a good addition). So comfortable and an excellent location - great for a wander round Eyam and lots of attractions all within half an hours drive. We didnt want to leave and would love to return as soon as we can

As others have noted, this is a modern, well equipped property with good sized bedrooms. However we had some issues. The earliest arrival time is now set at 5.30pm which is disappointing. Only providing 3 dishwasher tablets, no spare toilet rolls, and just handwash in the 3 bathrooms strikes me as penny pinching. Finally, a feeling that the housekeRead moreeping team could do better e.g. the cobweb that brushed my head when I went through the front door on arrival; 9 light bulbs needing replacement. Hide

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage. Right in the centre of Eyam Splendid kitchen with everything we needed.( except a cafetiere) Having an en suite in each bedroom was very good. Guests should bring their own milk, tea etc, as the local shops opening hours are patchy, and nothing is supplied
