Walkers, cyclists, and water sports enthusiasts will want to head to Carsington Water (5 miles). Explore the seaside town of Matlock Bath (6.5 miles) and catch a cable car up the Heights of Abraham above the town. You might also want to wander around the stunning Chatsworth Estate and House (13.5 miles), which is surrounded by pretty walks.
