We really enjoyed staying at the house. Super clean everywhere, comfy beds and sofas, tasteful decor, and everything we needed and more in the kitchen. We walked on the Monsal Trail, and closer to the house in Deep Dale and from Solomon's Temple to Buxton and back. All lovely! We recommend the fabulous High Peak bookstore cafe just a mile away on tRead morehe A515. For those visiting before the end of May, there is live music every weekend! Definitely one to return to.. Fantastic property and excellent location. All the amenities required for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for both walking and visiting the surrounding areas. Only drawback is not phone reception or very limited. A short drive or quick walk does improve it, but for me it was nice to detox and the property has good WIFI. Definitely visitRead moreing again. A new, clean and very homely cottage, situated in a very peaceful location (although on an estate) and perfect for experiencing the local area, with many things to do within a 30 minute drive (Pooles cave, Mam Tor, Buxton, Bakewell, Castleton, Thor's Cave, Chee Dale to name just a few).

We have just come back from a 4 night stay as a group of 4 adults, two children, and a small dog. The property is lovely and being a new build it was spotless inside. Beds are comfy, both showers are powerful. Kids room with bunk bed worked well. Smart TV, with Sky, in the lounge a real bonus. The view from the property of the hillside with the cowRead mores kept us entertained. Buxton centre was less than 10min drive away; Bakewell, Ladybower reservoir all under 40 mins. We would definitely stay again. Hide
