Dog-friendly holiday cottages in Derbyshire

All dogs are most welcome at our collection of pet-friendly holiday homes across Derbyshire. There’s no need to leave your furry buddy behind with friends or relatives now because so many of our holiday homes can welcome them to stay. Many of our cottages feature canine welcome packs full of treats, enclosed gardens and comfortable spaces for your hound to unwind and feel at home. If your pad has a woodburner be sure to fire it up if it’s cold, and let your dog stretch out in front of it.

Derbyshire is full of lovely spots to go for a family dog walk and there are plenty of things to do with the dog around this great region. It isn't just the holiday homes that accommodate our four-legged friends, there are lots of pubs, galleries and cafes that do too! Dog-friendly visitor attractions like Chatsworth, Matlock Bath, the Heights of Abraham, Bakewell and the Peak District National Park are great days out, primed for exploration. Also excellent for pooches are Hardwick Hall with 900 acres of parkland and the grounds of the Norman-era Peveril Castle in Castleton. Dogs may well be bewildered by human fascination with trains and trams, but they are welcome to go along to the wonderful Crich Tramway Village. For a climb and a view, Mam-Tor is one of the best elevated spots in the county. A prime day out for man and dog!
